Antonio’s ambition has always been to have his own farming business. In 1968, together with his father and his brothers Sergio and Ivano, he decided to leave the ancient village of Villa Lagarina in Trentino and head for the valleys of the Po Plain, to found what is today Azienda Agricola Pedrotti.

The business began life in the 1970s, with a small cowshed, about 20 head of cattle and a little land. Since then, their vocation for farming and for the animals, and their tenacity in carrying out their work and maintaining high quality standards, has allowed them to pass on to their children not only the enthusiasm and determination Antonio, Sergio and Ivano have always been renowned for, but above all, the ability to devote their lives to one of the world’s oldest activities.

Azienda Agricola Pedrotti is today an important family business, run by the founders’ children and grandchildren, with about 2000 head of cattle.

The secret of our success? “Always focusing on innovation, trying to grow and to improve every day, with a serious approach”.

Pedrotti was one of the first farms to install a biogas system that produces renewable energy to supply the whole business.

Right from the early days, we believed in our business, investing in it with an eye on the future”, explains Antonio, “and adding a little bit of recklessness, tackling the difficulties and efforts of every day while trying to help each other along the way”.
