Azienda Agricola Bussi Marco

Azienda Agricola Bussi Marco is located in Canossa, in the beautiful area of the foothills of the Reggio Apennines. The farm is made up of milk cows for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano and 60 hectares of land planted with crops.

Since 1984, Marco Bussi has been running the farm he inherited from his father, aided by his wife and an employee: 60 lactating cows and 40 young animals being raised, fed exclusively with traditional fodder, almost all of it grown on the farm’s own land.

“Carrying out this activity in a mountain area is tougher, and the costs are higher; it requires total dedication and love for our work. My model is my father, who dedicated his whole life to this business. Even today, at the age of 90, he’s still coming in and contributing to the growth of the business. In addition to freedom to work as we choose and complete independence, the values we’re moved by are a passion for what we do, and the satisfaction of seeing the results of our hard work and effort, day after day”.
